Hello Friends and Visitors,
We have finally released our Bags of Hope! You might be wondering what is a Bag of Hope, or if you have received a bag at your home you may want to know more.
The simple answer is—it is a gift!
"Hope is one of the Theological virtues. This means that a continual looking forward to the eternal world is not (as some modern people think) a form of escapism or wishful thinking, but one of the things a Christian is meant to do. It does not mean that we are to leave the present world as it is. If you read history, you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next."
That's a profound thought if you ask me and it's a great way to explain what our Bag of Hope is all about. As Christians, the Bible teaches us that this world is not our home and that the God of the universe has a rescue plan to deliver us from all the pain, suffering, and death.
My church and I believe that this world is coming to an end soon. We don't know how soon, but as we look around we see the signs happening that Jesus spoke about in the Bible that warns us that the end of the world is near.
And because we believe the end of the world is near we want to do everything we can to share the hope that we have (of eternal life in a perfect world) with everyone and anyone. In this bag of hope, you will find some of the best material ever written on what's happening in our world (past, present, and future) and how to have a relationship with Jesus, the Saviour of the world!
