Discover Hope – Bible Study Small Groups
Find the meaning of life and discover hope through this 8-part video series examining relevant topics in the book of Daniel and Revelation with Pastor Brad Thorp!
This Bible study series is coming to a neighbourhood near you and is a great opportunity for our church to grow stronger in the Word of God and closer together. Furthermore, this special 8-part series is designed as an outreach. Each presentation is geared to seekers, skeptics, and the secular mind. Please begin praying who God would have you invite—maybe a friend, neighbour, or co-worker.

What can I expect? For the first four presentations each host location will be at begin at 7:00 PM. Once participants have arrived and introductions made, the Bible study small group will begin with the video presentation by Pastor Brad. Each presentation is about 50 minutes in length. Once the presentation is complete, there will be a 30 to 40 minute discussion, reflection, and prayer time lead by the group facilitator. Thus, you can expect the study time including the video to last about an hour and a half.
The size of each Bible study small group will range between 8 and 12 people depending on the location. The first four parts of the study series will begin on January 19 and run through January 27. Note, the additional topics will be scheduled by each small group based on what works best for them and their host.

Once you sign-up to participate in a Bible study small group, please do your best to attend most if not all of the initial 8 sessions. We recognize that undoubtedly, some individuals will not be able to attend every session, in this case, please be sure to inform your host.
Bible study small groups function best when participants are punctual and attend consistently. Consistency enables trusting relationships to form as you study, share, and pray together.
What's next? It is our prayer that after the conclusion of the 8-part series, a majority of Bible study small groups will decide to continue. Every small group that continues becomes an important light and network for reaching more and more people in our community for Jesus.
