Royce Odiyar

 

Royce serves as pastor of the Columbia-Shuswap District, which includes the Salmon Arm, Silver Creek, and Revelstoke Seventh-day Adventist churches. A native of the Okanagan Valley, Royce has been in pastoral ministry for over 15 years. He is married, has one son, and is passionate about helping people discover a deeper relationship with God. Royce is also the co-host of The Pursuit virtual Bible study series.

Alanna

 

Alanna is a registered massage therapist, local business owner, grew up in British Columbia and currently a resident of Salmon Arm, BC. She has a deep passion for health, wellness, and exploring God’s Word. Alanna loves meaningful conversations about faith and serving God in a variety of ways. 

Janice

 

Janice is a retired kindergarten teacher and former school principal who has dedicated her career to nurturing children. A mother of two grown daughters, she recently moved to the area after serving in schools across British Columbia. Janice brings both experience and heart to her study of the Bible.

Rue

 

Rue is originally from Zimbabwe and has now made her home in the Salmon Arm area, where she works as a health care aide. After completing her studies in Canada, she is establishing her life and career here. Rue’s faith, resilience, and love for God’s Word shine through in her participation and testimony.

Doug Tilstra

 

Doug is a retired university professor who also served as a pastor for more than 20 years. He and his wife have been married for many years and enjoy spending time with their family, which includes three grown children. Doug brings a thoughtful and engaging perspective to every Bible discussion.

Irvin

 

Irvin serves as a paramedic in Salmon Arm and is a proud father of two. Originally from the Lower Mainland, he enjoys sharing God’s Word through teaching and preaching. Irvin is a committed follower of Jesus and has a love for Scripture.

Terrence

 

Terrence is also a paramedic in Salmon Arm, a devoted husband (whose wife is originally from Brazil), and father of three. He enjoys gardening, family time, and deep reflection on Scripture. Terrence brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to the study of God’s Word.
